The RethinkX report makes so much sense! This new tech will disrupt and completely replace the old. But we need to scale up wind, solar and battery power NOW and overcome the dangerous delays being put in place by the dying industries that control virtually all our politicians and the media. How do we deal with their propaganda? I am sick and tired of "I love O&G bumper stickers, t-shirts and hats." I can't wait to get my hands on an "I love wind & solar t-shirt!"
Yes, I read this article a few days ago too and just posted it on my Facebook page. How do we best combat the piles of propaganda??? O&G also owns our politicians, especially here in Alberta and they control a lot of the mainstream media. I think social media is a way to have conversations with people. But lately, I have found Facebook is prioritizing photos and videos over links to articles. I post a photo and I get tons of likes and lots of comments. I post an article and usually..... nothing. When I questioned this, a media person who is a Facebook friend confirmed that the algorithms are favouring photos & video. The T-Shirt idea.... I am going to do some thinking about that!
